Michael Eichler, MD
Dr. Eichler joined Eye Surgeons & Physicians in 2003, after four years of practice in the Twin Cities. He helped fill the void left when Dr. Hobday retired that same year. Dr. Eichler is highly skilled in cataract and LASIK surgery, as well as general ophthalmology, treating a broad range of eye diseases, disorders and injuries.
A native of Minneapolis, and graduate of St. John’s University, Dr. Eichler went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. He went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan – Kellogg Eye Center where he also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Eichler is Board Certified in both Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology (MAO), American Medical Association (AMA), Minnesota Medical Association (MMA), and the Stearns-Benton County Medical Society (SBCMS).
He lives in Sartell with his wife and four children. He enjoys golf, basketball and outdoor activities.
