Andrea C. Joplin, MD
Dr. Joplin is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who has been with Eye Surgeons & Physicians since 1997. She is a highly skilled cataract surgeon, LASIK surgeon, and general ophthalmologist, treating a broad range of eye diseases, disorders and injuries including cataracts, glaucoma and diabetes. Based in St. Cloud, she also provides surgical & consultative services in Albany, Monticello & Paynesville.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Dr. Joplin attended the University of Minnesota and continued on to the University of Minnesota Medical School where she also completed her residency.
Dr. Joplin is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology (MAO), American Medical Association (AMA), ARCRS, Minnesota Medical Association (MMA), and the Stearns-Benton County Medical Society (SBCMS). She serves on committees for the MMA and is on the Board of Directors for the SBCMS and the MAO. From 2002 – 2004, Dr. Joplin served as Chief of Staff at the St. Cloud Surgical Center.
Dr. Joplin lives in St. Cloud with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling and has completed numerous service projects abroad. Although dreaming of warmer weather, she enjoys the live music and arts scene right here in Central Minnesota.
